Elderberry Jam: The California Flute Revival

The California Flute Revival is a series of Learning and Culmination Days organized by Reimagine The Land and Tongva musicians Lázaro Arvizu Jr. and Summer Wilson. Our plan is no less than creating new lineages for the California Flute, an endblown flute made of California elderberry. The California Flute was played by Coastal and Central Indigenous Californians, but is now virtually without lineage holders. We will change that, with your help.

Rarámuri ra'icha Study Circle

Rarámuri ra'icha Study Circle is a community of Rarámuri diaspora and allies who are seeking to learn and uplift the Rarámuri ra'icha language. RTL founder Eric Santiestevan is of Rarámuri heritage and found it difficult to find language resources for the dialects of Rarámuri ra'icha outside of México. The Study Circle has an archive of language resources and a private server for community to discuss, practice, and be together.
